Who we are
GKC Incorporated, also known as GK Consulting, is a Southern California engineering consulting firm. We provide civil and structural engineering for infrastructure, roadway, and transit projects, working as a subconsultant to prime design teams and directly for public agencies and owners.
We are deliberately a small, senior team. The engineers who sit in the kickoff meeting are the engineers who produce the calculations and the drawings, which keeps decisions consistent from early study through final design and construction support.

- Drainage, hydrology, and stormwater design
- Site grading and roadway and street improvements
- Utilities coordination, including relocation and conflict resolution
- Retaining walls and structural design support
- Bridge design and rehabilitation support
- Transit stations and light rail facilities
How we work
Every assignment starts with a clear scope, an agreed list of deliverables, and a schedule the whole team can see. We document assumptions as we go, so reviewers and agency staff can follow the reasoning behind a calculation or a detail without a long back-and-forth.
Because most of our work happens inside larger teams, coordination is part of the job rather than an afterthought. We track review comments through to resolution, stay responsive between milestones, and raise issues early instead of at submittal.
